Partnerskap Alnarp, the research program FRAS and the research school BECFOR invite you to a workshop with focus on regeneration of Scots pine and Norway spruce. During the workshop, we deal with short term issues, such as seedling survival and vitality, but also with the important long-term perspectives of the future forest. When choosing the forest management, it is important to consider both climate change and production of many different ecosystem services. We will discuss new findings and old truths considering soil scarification, seedling types and pine weevil damage.
The workshop is part of the research program FRAS and the research school BECFOR, SLU with the intention to increase collaboration and communication between Ph D-students and the forestry sector and stakeholders.
